The Maryland Heights Community Center will offer two educational programs in May from AARP.
Downsizing and Decluttering: You Can't Take It With You! is a one-day lesson about how people can simplify and improve their lives through organization. The course warns attendees about how clutter can make relocating more challenging and may prevent healthcare services from accessing their homes. The class will teach the audience how to start their decluttering journey and go over practical tips for downsizing.
The other program at the community center will be the Six Pillars of Brain Health. The presentation will highlight important reasons why people should maintain their brain health and offer helpful lifestyle suggestions. Some topics covered at the event include how to stay socially engaged, ways to continue learning, and resources for managing stress. The advice from the presentation can also help attendees improve their sleep and stay physically healthier.
The presentation on downsizing and decluttering will be held on Wednesday, May 1st from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, and the program on brain health will be on Thursday, May 16th from 11:00 am to noon. Both of the educational activities are free for people to join. All participants must have an AARP account to register for the events. Organizations that host similar presentations at community centers may use poster printing services to advertise their seminars.
