Maryland Heights to hold time travel-themed marathon

The Bodies Race Company will organize a themed race in Maryland Heights this January at Creve Coeur Park.

The Time Travel Half Marathon is an event where people can compete in a western-themed race that is family-friendly and open to all skill levels.

Those who participate in the marathon will receive a custom bandana, cowboy boot socks, running gloves, and an embroidered cowboy hat beanie. People can register in advance for a branded shirt. There will also be an after-party at the park, vendors for attendees to browse, and 3D-printed finisher medals for all participants.

There are multiple volunteer opportunities at the race for those who want to help the Bodies Race Company. People can sign up for roles like a finish line photographer, course photographer, and aid station assistant. The organizers also need course monitors who can redirect traffic away from participants and cheer on runners as they complete the race.

All volunteers will get a shirt and free entry to a future Bodies Race Company event.

The time travel-themed marathon will be held on Sunday, January 26. People can pick up their packets from 7:30 am to 8:45 am, and the race will begin at 9:00 am. The cost to participate in the event is $50 for the half marathon and $32 for the 10K and 5K races. Prices will increase after December 1. Organizers for similar marathons can use banner printing to advertise their races.
