DaySpring Arts & Education will host a carnival in August at its building in Maryland Heights.
The DaySpring Community Carnival is an event where families can tour the DaySpring Arts & Education facility while enjoying kid-friendly activities like live performances, games, and a dunk tank. Guests will also get to interact with Kinetic Tapestry and Maryville University Interactive STEAM Studio. Kinetic Tapestry is a nonprofit that was founded in 2010 that performs theatrical circus shows and offers training in the circus arts. The Interactive STEAM Studio is an educational lab that teaches students topics like coding, engineering, and mathematics.
DaySpring Arts & Education is an organization that offers several arts-related classes on subjects such as dance, musical theater, and drama. The group was created in 1993 by a group of artists who wanted better education for their children. The school later became a nonprofit organization in 1998. The facility is home to 12 music studios, a rehearsal hall, and an art room. There is also a scene shop, costume shop, and teacher workspace.
The community carnival will be held on Saturday, August 17th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. All guests can enter the carnival for free, and registration is not required.
