Maryland Heights to benefit local charities with food fest

Support Local Charities will hold a food festival in October at St. Louis Music Park in Maryland Heights.

The Wine & Food Holiday Festival is a collection of food-themed experiences where people can try great-tasting dishes and beverages from local restaurants while enjoying live entertainment. Those who visit the Food Taste Festival can watch cooking demonstrations from experienced chefs and learn techniques from experts. Wine fans can attend the Grand Wine Tasting Experience to try samples from over 100 wineries.

Guests can attend many activities during the food-themed festival. A Beat Cancer Brunch held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Chesterfield that promotes awareness and celebrates cancer survivors. A fashion show will also take place at the brunch. People can listen to live performances from Dr. Zhivegas and Dirty Muggs. There will also be a themed event at The Caramel Room that features signature wine cocktails and a VIP dinner. The money from this activity will directly benefit local youth organizations in St. Louis.

The holiday food fest will be held from Friday, October 11th to Sunday, October 13th. A weekend pass to the festival is $195, and VIP passes are $295. VIP guests will receive access to an exclusive wine tent and sample area, early bird entry to the festival, and a swag bag.
