Residents of Maryland Heights can tune into two informative webinars in March offered by the St. Louis County Library.
Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri will be presenting two programs for adults that cover topics related to bettering their mental health. The first presentation is Strengthening Relationships for Wellbeing, which will teach attendees about strategies for improving their communication with others. The second discussion will celebrate Women’s History Month and is titled Lightening the Mental Load. During the webinar, viewers can gain insight into the mental loads women carry daily. Both presentations are broadcasted on Zoom.
Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri is a not-for-profit group that was formed in 1945 to support those impacted by the full spectrum of mental illnesses. More than 100 members of the community volunteer for the organization to serve several counties throughout Eastern Missouri, including Lincoln, Warren, and Jefferson counties. One of the programs created by the group is the Collegiate Council. Organizations like this can produce informative handouts about their projects using brochure printing.
The Strengthening Relationships for Wellbeing webinar will be held on Monday, March 7 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and the Lightening the Mental Load will take place on Wednesday, March 9 from noon to 1:00 pm. Both presentations can be found on YouTube within three business days of the events.
