Festival of diversity to be held in Missouri

WorldFest will be held in Maryland Heights next month. Festivalgoers will learn about the unique cultures that make up Missouri’s community.

The event will include music, and performances celebrating the traditions of each culture featured at the festival. Foods from around the world will be offered, and there will be a market featuring culturally significant artwork, antiques, memorabilia, and crafts from local vendors. Most items for sale will cost $15 or less, and some vendors may choose to distribute Promotional Products and souvenirs free of charge. The event will welcome all ages, including a dedicated play area for children.

Vendors and food truck operators are still needed for this event. Each booth costs $25 to rent for the day, and retailers should bring their own table and chairs. Vendors will be admitted at 8:00 AM on the day of the festival to setup their booth. An application is available on the City of Maryland Heights website.

WorldFest will be held on Sunday, June 6 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Admission to the festival and parking are free of charge, however participants must register in advance on the Eventbrite website. Due to safety restrictions from the Covid-19 pandemic, participants may have to wait to enter the festival if the function is at capacity. The event will be held in a covered area outdoors at the Centene Community Ice Center, located at 750 Casino Center Drive.
