Two Lakeside Crossing commercial buildings in Maryland Heights have been bought by Enterprise Holdings, where the employees of their information technology department will work.
Enterprise bought both buildings from Franklin Street Properties. The first building, located at 2281 Ball Drive, will house around one in four of Enterprise's IT employees. Other IT staff will stay at their locations in Clayton, Maplewood, and Weldon Spring. Remodeling of the 116,000 square feet of space should be finished by autumn and the company can move in after that.
The second building at 2291 Ball Drive is rented by Monsanto and may be used in the future as the company expands and needs the extra 128,000 square feet. The company did not say how much they paid for the offices, but the St. Louis county real estate records estimate them to be worth $30m.
According to Craig Kennedy, the senior vice president and chief information officer of Enterprise, the company was running out of space and its former premises. It bought the buildings as a solution and so as to prepare for growth.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo Rent A Car, and National Car Rental are subsidiaries of Enterprise.
When it comes time to renovate 2291 Ball Drive, architects and designers need to impress Enterprise to acquire the project. A poster printing company can give them colorful and clear Posters to show executives choosing businesses for the remodel.Get a Free Quote for Posters
