St. Louis Community College (STLCC) in the Maryland Heights and Bridgeton area is hosting a virtual version of its Falling in Love in Five Courses dinner event.
This is the 13th year of the college foundation's gala and the first to be held virtually. Gavin Kaysen, a celebrity chef who has won several awards, will be a special guest. Kaysen also promotes going into the culinary industry. He and his team are vocal about the state of the restaurant environment and have predictions on how it will change. He also established the nationally renowned Soigne Hospitality Group, which encompasses an array of Minneapolis restaurants.
Tickets are $275 and include a five-course dinner and wine delivered to the guest's home. Tickets are not refundable, but can be donated to the foundation if any guest is unable to attend. If the gala is canceled, tickets will automatically turn into a tax-deductible donation.
Guests can also donate to Fund-A-Future campaign or become a sponsor, with opportunities ranging from $2,500 to $15,000. Reservations and donations are accepted on the St. Louis Community College Foundation website. All proceeds go toward STLCC student financial aid, which awarded $700,000 to over 800 students for the 2017-2018 school year.
The Foundation's goal is to aid college students with paying for college. It does this through various scholarships. For more information, call 314-539-5219 or email foundation@stlcc.edu.
