Brewery on the way to Maryland Heights

O'Fallon Brewery is moving its headquarters to Maryland Heights.

Residents are getting an up close view of what goes into brewing beer, such as the tanks for fermenting the liquid that stand 18 feet tall. Onlookers are inquiring about opening day for the brewery and taking a look inside the building to see the progress.

The plans for the new headquarters were announced last year. With a tasting room and a restaurant, the project will come to $10m. Although the brewery will start to make beer in June, the 39,000 square foot building located on 45 Progress Parkway will open a month earlier. O'Fallon also plans to employ 35 more people, increase its output, and work with other local brewers since it will have the space to do so.

President and CEO of O'Fallon Brewery Jim Gorczyca stated that the several companies in the area that are not breweries, such as Edward Jones, are the reason why he settled on the location, which is also close to the interstate. Gorczyca hopes these factors will bring in a crowd. Mike Moeller, the mayor of Maryland Heights, predicts that with the brewery will come new types of employment.

Gorczyca might need new Business Cards to update the location and new aspects of the brewery. The new employees will require cards as well, and a business card printing company could make that possible.
