YALL Louisville leadership community for H.S. students

A program known as Youth Ambassadors Leading Louisville (Y.A.L.L.) or Y’ALL for short, gives Louisville high school students the chance to work with the city as leaders in the community.

The recently kicked-off program includes interested students from thirty-three schools. Applicants need to be in their Junior Year and have a minimum of a 3.7 weighted GPA and submit an introductory video about themselves.

The video should express their interest in being a Youth Ambassador during their Senior Year and how they will relate their fellow classmates to the city and explain something about Louisville such as a location, person or event that inspires them. Video application should be submitted to the applicant’s school.

Banner printing services offer municipalities as well as schools and other institutions a means of not only informing the public but also of claiming bragging rights.

The Youth Ambassadors Leading Louisville program enables two juniors per Jefferson County high school the opportunity to actively participate in influencing the future of Metro-sponsored events during their Senior Year. Following each event the students will be asked to fill out a form detailing their experience as well as sharing what they consider the highlights of the event.

Events that Y’ALL will participate in include the mayor’s Memorial Day Bike and Paddle, Worldfest, Keeper of the Dream and the Veterans Day parade.
