Connors Steak & Seafood to open Louisville location
Connors, one of the top steak restaurants in the country according to Trip Advisor, will open later this summer in Louisville’s East End on Hurstbourne Parkway, where Mimi’s Café was prior to its closing in 2020.
Part of a chain, Connor’s Steak and Seafood is based in Knoxville, Tennessee and is owned by Connor Concepts LLC. The company’s president and CEO, J. Michael Connor, said the steak and seafood restaurant has turned out to be extremely successful. He explained further:
"It does fairly high volumes for us. Typically, in all the markets just about, we usually rate at the top of the steak restaurants on Trip Advisor. So, we got some pretty good accolades mainly from the reviews because we don't really advertise."
A printing service can provide signage for a new establishment as well as business stationery, menus, and even customized apparel.
Aged steaks and fresh seafood are the specialties at Connors, which also serves pastas and gourmet salads. Based on the Knoxville Connors menu price, the new restaurant's mesquite-grilled steaks will range from $28 to $43 and will come with either a soup or a salad, as well as an additional side.
Connor says he anticipates hiring around 100 workers for his new location and will be paying non-tipped staff a minimum of $15 per hour. In choosing Louisville for the latest location, the deciding factor was the college system here and the strong recruiting base it provides.
