Next month, FilmGate Miami will showcase music videos from local creators at their monthly film festival.
FilmGate Miami is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide support to artists and creators in Miami and across Florida. The organization hosts a reoccurring film festival called the FilmGate Festival, which introduces a new topic each month. In September, it will present FilmGate Festival Music Videos edition.
The music videos edition will be a hybrid festival where attendees have the choice to either attend the festival in person or virtually. For the in-person-option, guests will be able to enjoy and dance to the music videos being shown at two places, the El Oro Theater and FilmGate’s hall of media. COVID-19 protocols will be in place for all in-person attendees. Those who wish to attend virtually can visit the Eventive website for streaming options.
The FilmGate Festival Music Videos edition is slated for Wednesday, September 29. In-person tickets are $15 on Eventbrite, which includes a free beer from partnering businesses. The physical venue’s address is 168 SE 1st Street on the third floor. Discounted parking at the Courtyard by Marriott will be available at 200 SE 2nd Street.
