The 1920s may be well in the past, but for one night, they will be brought back to life during a Miami special event.
Pay Dates With a Purpose, which is a nonprofit organization, will be hosting its Our Purpose Ball. The theme for the evening will be ‘The Great Gatsby’, and it will feature appetizers, drinks, and dinner.
In addition to this, there will be music, raffles, and a silent auction where guests can bid on an assortment of prizes. Each person who attends will also receive a complimentary gift bag filled with items to thank them for their support of the organization and its goals. Those who plan on attending are encouraged to come dressed for the occasion in their best 1920s-style attire. Funds raised will be used to support Play Dates With a Purpose, which seeks to lend a helping hand to single mothers in the local community who are in need of shelter and other assistance.
The gala evening will take place on December 3 from 5:30 until 8:30 pm at Miami’s Moore Park. Tickets are $25 each and they, along with further details about the Our Purpose Ball, can be found on the Facebook page.
