To celebrate International Women’s Day next month, Women RUN Wynwood is hosting a 5k run for any interested ladies in the Miami area.
Women RUN Wynwood is one of the biggest women-led run clubs in Miami. Focused on female empowerment, the non-profit club hosts various 5k events for women to have a safe space to have fun and feel empowered through fitness. As March is Women’s History Month, the upcoming 5k will be centered around International Women’s Day, which falls on the Monday after the race.
The 5k will begin with an empowerment speaking segment and then segue into a warmup session for the participants. After the run, there will be beer and refreshments available for those 21 and up to enjoy. There will also be afterparty activities, such as dance fitness, yoga, and mediation sessions.
According to the club’s nonprofit mission, Women RUN Wynwood events are free, so it relies on the generosity of sponsors. Businesses interested in becoming sponsors have three sponsorship tiers to choose from, which are gold, silver, and bronze. Each tier offers the businesses the opportunity to have their Logo Design displayed on the run club’s website.
