Local mall holds health fair
The Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, Jersey College, Westfield Brandon and Brandon Regional Hospital will hold their 2017 Health Fair in a couple of weeks.
This will be an opportunity for local health and wellness businesses to present their goods and services to the community. They will also be educating us on why and how we should be living a healthy lifestyle.
There will be demonstrations, screening, and exhibits focusing on the family. Every booth will have giveaways and will be advertising by displaying banners and distributing flyers and brochures.
Businesses such as doTERRA! essential oils will be participating, and Myra Jimenez will be passing out information on Helo, a wristband that reports and monitors physical data, influences the body with stones and sensors, and records fatigue, emotions, sleep quality, heart rate, exercise, and ECG.
The first 500 guests will receive goodie bags filled with coupons, free samples and promotional products from the local business exhibitors. Some lucky attendees will win door prizes.
A program guide will be distributed, which will contain sponsors logos and full page ads. Businesses will want to get their artwork submitted quickly before the program goes to the printing company.
The Health Fair will be Saturday, May 13 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Westfield Brandon Shopping Mall, 459 Brandon Town Center Drive, Brandon. The event will be free and open to the public.
