Brandon Christmas means gift-making and parties
This holiday season, those ready to usher in the holiday season will have gift-making workshops and party options during the first part of December.
Two workshops will be available – one for making holiday ornaments, and the other for creating Sleigh Bandsaw Boxes. Each holiday ornament will be made from exotic wood blanks and plated with gold. Christmas Bandsaw boxes can be formed from laminated blocks, solid blocks, or woodpile logs, and will have no shape restrictions. The Holiday Ornament event will be Saturday, December 3, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, and the Christmas Sleigh Box workshop will be held Wednesday, December 7 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware, 169 Brandon Town Center Drive.
Three Christmas parties have been scheduled. Mystic Massage & Beauty Studio, 137 W Windhorst Road, will be having its 12th Annual Christmas Party on Saturday, December 3rd from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. West Brandon, 459 Brandon Town Center Drive, will have Not Your Mama’s X-mas Party Saturday, December 10 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm in the Restaurant Courtyard. The event will feature strolling entertainers, one-of-a-kind photo stops, and chances for $200 worth of gift cards.
An Ugly Sweater Party will be December 14 from 9:00 am to noon at Crunch Fitness, 1570 W Brandon Blvd. The event organizer promises fitness, food, and fun.
Pictures taken at events such as these are often taken to print shops to be included in Christmas family newsletters.
