Brandon area dons ugly Christmas sweaters for charity
The Brandon area has multiple ugly sweater fundraising events around Christmas time.
An Ugly Sweater & Redneck Christmas Party will be a Customer Appreciation Party. ECHO will receive 100% of the proceeds, along with the toys and food collected during the festivities. Santa will be present and there will be a complimentary buffet, Christmas cookie bake sale, prizes, and raffles.
This will take place Wednesday, December 12 from 6:30 to 10:30 pm at the Landing Bar & Grill, 4351 Lynx Paw Tri, Valrico.
The next event is the Ugly Sweater Party on Friday, December 14th at American Social, 601 S. Harbour Island Blvd. #107, Tampa. This will benefit Clothes for Kids and will be presented by 13 Ugly Men. Guests will be dancing to holiday remix music presented by multiple area DJs, drinking specialty eggnog, and having their pictures taken with Santa.
Lastly, an Ugly Sweater PAW-TY will have dog owners creating ugly Christmas sweaters for their pooches. There will be an ugly sweater contest, giveaways, raffles, and doggie and Santa photo opts. Proud dog owners can take these pictures to local stationery printers to be included in their 2019 family calendars. Proceeds from this event will go to support 4 Lucky Dogs Rescue. Guests are invited to donate old blankets.
