Tribute to great artists coming to Wilmington
Wilmington is the place fans of classic rock will want to be soon.
A tribute band to the one and only Fleetwood Mac is coming to Wilmington. The Fleetwood Mac Experience-Tribute will be at The Queen for one performance, with their guests, Crimes of Passion.
Fleetwood Mac first got together in 1967 in London, founded by drummer Mick Fleetwood, along with guitarists Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer. The members changed over the years, with possibly the most notable additions being Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. Fleetwood Mac has sold over 120 million albums, making them one of rock's best-selling groups.
The Fleetwood Mac Experience-Tribute (FMX), formed in 2013 in Niagara Falls, New York. They play the music of the original band as it was first performed, with everything live, and no backing tracks or harmonizers ever used. They have toured widely and successfully in the Midwest, Northeast, and Canada.
Crimes of Passion is a Pat Benatar tribute band that formed around 2005, led by lead guitarist and vocalist Juliana, who also is a songwriter. The band has finished well in a number of contests, which allowed them the chance to open for artists such as the Doobie Brothers, Foghat, and the Steve Miller Band.
The concert is scheduled for March 20, starting at 8.00 pm. Flyer printing is often used to create handouts announcing shows like this.
