Musicians ready to jam in the summer heat
On its way this weekend, Hot Jam 2013 is the new premier fundraiser by the School of Rock and features more than 20 bands that will be playing over a 14-hour period. Rainbow Records will have music for sale, and many other vendors will make themselves known. Poster printing, banner printing, and flyer printing may have been chosen to promote this concert style fundraiser to people in this community and the surrounding districts.
Proceeds raised from this event will benefit the School of Rock Scholarship Fund. The audience will enjoy such entertaining bands as The Future Underwritten, Mad Trio, Echo Mission, Raised by Ghosts, Robot House, and Kind of Creatures. The acts will be playing at various times over the course of the day’s schedule. While enjoying the entertainment, guests are invited to check out the food selection that is available, as well as the products for sale by the vendors. No doubt the audience will find it hard not to sing along and tap their toes to the sounds.
The cost for tickets is $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Hot Jam 2013 will be taking place on Saturday, August 3, from 11:00 am to 1:00 am at the School of Rock located at 484 Century Blvd. in Wilmington, Delaware.
