Hockey team relocates to the suburbs of Philadelphia
A hockey team from the state of Texas has decided to move into suburbia adjacent to Philadelphia.
The team, which will be called the Aston Rebels at the beginning of the season later in the year, had to get the consent of the governors of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for the move to take place. In Texas the team was known as the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, and those in charge of the organization may want to use poster printing in Wilmington as part of the rebranding and recruitment process.
The Aston Rebels will host home games at a venue called the Ice Works. This is situated within Delaware County. John Giacobbo, who will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the club, has said:
Texas Sports Partners has not relinquished ownership of the club. Joe Coombs has been appointed to coach the team, while Rocky Russo has been tasked with the supervision of the development of the players.
The NAHL is a junior hockey league, one of several within the United States. The participants in the games vary in age, with the youngest players 16 and the oldest ones 20. It has been reported that the specific league is highly regarded by fans of the sport.

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to expand hockey in the Philadelphia suburbs. This area has a strong commitment to the sport and this is another example of bringing a quality and competitive team to the region.”
