Fundraiser scheduled in Wilmington
A fundraiser in Wilmington will bring a beloved local comedian to the city for the event.
The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC) is hosting Aunt Mary Pat at the “Let's Hear It for the Girls!” event, with all money raised going to its various programs.
Aunt Mary Pat is known as the “Queen of Delco,” and has posted videos on social media where she has won legions of fans discussing topics such as Wawa. She has appeared at venues throughout the region, including The Queen in Wilmington, Harrahs Casino, and the Valley Forge Casino. Delaware’s Readers’ Choice named her Best Entertainer 2019, as well as Best of Delco 2019.
The event is set for October 29 at Catherine Rooney's in Wilmington, and is scheduled to be held in person, with appropriate health measures in place. Brochure printing can provide extensive programs for events like this.
The doors open at 5:30 pm, and the silent auction also begins. Food and drinks will be served from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm, and from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm the silent auction will be wound up, and Aunt Mary Pat will perform her live show, which will be recorded. A meet and greet is set for 8:00 pm until 8:30 pm, at which time attendees will receive two drink vouchers, a themed mask, a swag bag from DBCC, and more.
