Annual event brings out cream of Wilmington society
The 38th annual Grand Gala is taking place this December in Wilmington. This year's theme is ‘A Little Help from Our Friends’ and it is set to honor volunteers in the community.
This event is known for attracting many community and business leaders, and more than 1,000 guests are expected to attend this year. The evening will start off with a pre-party at A. R. Morris Jewelers. Later, the gala will feature a performance by The Fab Faux, which is a Beatles tribute band. Next, there will be an after party held at the nearby Hotel Du Pont. Guests will be treated to an open bar, can snack on gourmet food, and will enjoy live musical entertainment.
It is likely that poster printing companies in Wilmington have been asked to provide products to advertise this event throughout the community. These posters can be displayed in various public buildings.
The Grand Gala is taking place at the Grand Opera House on December 6, beginning at 8:00 pm. Tickets range in price from $195 for bronze, to $300 for silver, and $500 for gold, based on the location of the seats. A platinum package is also available for $1,500 for two, which includes an overnight stay in the Hotel Du Pont, valet parking, and Sunday brunch. To learn more about the evening, call 302-658-7897.
