Temecula parade to light up the evening sky

Once again, Temecula will be marking the winter holiday season by hosting its Santa’s Electric Light Parade, and the public is invited to come out and get in on the festivities.

The brightly lit and colorful procession will wind its way from the intersection of Jefferson and Del Rio through the Old Town. There will be floats covered in thousands of twinkling lights, as well as marching bands from local schools playing holiday favorites.

There will even be vendors selling an assortment of glow in the dark items so everyone can help to light up the night. The theme of the parade will be ‘Family First for the Holidays’, and its organizers have planned for it to be fun for people of all ages. A printer will be able to supply an event like this with colorful holiday-themed Banners that have been that have been customized just for the occasion.

There is plenty of parking available for those who plan on taking in the celebration. Both the Old Town Parking Structure and the gravel lot at Ynez/Santiago will be open to the public.

The Santa’s Electric Light Parade will begin at 7:00 pm on December 2. Viewing areas will be organized on Jefferson between Del Rio and Rancho California, and also along Old Town Front Street. Further information is available on the website that has been set up for the parade.
