Temecula has planned some family friendly events to help mark the Fourth of July.
A Star Spangled 4th of July Parade will be held in Old Town Temecula. This yearly event will feature a variety of entries, ranging from floats to riders on horseback, marching bands, and more. A printer can create Banners, flags, and other signage to be carried by the marchers during parades such as this.
To accommodate the festivities, Old Town Front Street will be closed off from 9:00 am until about noon. Those who bring their vehicles will be able to park in the Old Town Parking Garage, which is located on Mercedes Street just south of the Civic Center.
The parade will be running form South to North, arch to arch, along Old Town Front Street in Downtown Old Temecula, and is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am. It is part of an assortment of celebrations that will be held in the city throughout the day, including the 4th of July Family Fun and Fireworks, which will be held at Ronald Regan Sports Park. This function will include live entertainment, a Kids Zone with fun and games, food, and fireworks.
