Temecula event to raise funds for local youth

Postsecondary education can be expensive, so during an event that will be held in Temecula, attendees will have an opportunity to socialize and enjoy trying new wines while they help local youth fund their educational goals.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s San Diego Graduate chapter has organized a wine tasting event at Peltzer Winery. Those who attend will be served an assortment of wines to sample, and there will also be light refreshments, many of them prepared ‘farm to table’ style. While they enjoy these offerings, people are invited to mingle, network, and make new friends.

Both Ivy and Pearl level contributions are available. The Pearl level includes free transportation, to the venue as well as a prepared lunch, reserved seating, recognition and also a special gift. Ivy level contributors can purchase the transportation and lunch separately. Those who plan an event like this can have an assortment of Promotional Products prepared ahead of time to market it throughout the area.

This will be the first time the sorority has hosted its Ivies and Vines Sowing Seeds into Scholarship and Environmental Stewardship function. Tickets start at $100 for ‘Ivy’ level and $150.00 for ‘Pearl’. It has been planned for June 10th in the Peltzer Winery, located at 40275 Calle Contento, and all are welcome to participate and help youth in the area achieve their dreams.
