The annual senior recognition program of the Temecula Valley Chapter of the National Charity League will be held later this week.
The many hours of volunteering and the accomplishments of the 17 members of the chapter will be celebrated at the event. This is also an important milestone for the chapter, as this group of women are the first in the chapter to have gone through the six-year experience of the National Charity League with their mothers, in which they are involved in philanthropic work, leadership training, educational activities, and cultural events.
‘Oh, the Places We’ll Go!’ is the theme of this year’s event and Lora Sexton will be the master of ceremonies. Her daughter participated in the event last year. Sexton has spent many hours volunteering with her daughter and continues to do so as a district philanthropy specialist for the National Charity League.
The event will include a cash bar, dinner, dessert, and dancing. A silent auction will also be held and its proceeds will go towards college scholarships, which the chapter offers for high school seniors. Banner printing can be used to promote events such as this one and the philanthropic efforts of the organizations for which they are held.
The program will take place in the Grand Ballroom at the Pechanga Casino and Resort tomorrow, March 21, beginning at 6:00 pm.
