Once again this holiday season, Temecula will be engaging in one of its well known and well loved traditions when it hosts its annual New Year’s Eve Grape Drop.
Originally inspired by the ball drop which is held in New York City, the lowering of the bunch of brightly lit purple grapes pays homage to the area’s agricultural and wine making heritage. Along with countdowns to both the East Coat and west coast New Year, there will be live music to enjoy, a variety of activities for the kids and also an assortment of vendors, which will be on hand offering different goods and services to the crowd.
The event has been organized to be family friendly, and is suitable for both young and old alike. The New Year’s Eve Grape Drop will be held in Temecula’s Town Square Park at the Civic Center on December 31st from 6:00 pm until 12:30 am. There is no admission fee to take part in the evening’s activities.
