The 3rd annual Health, Wellness, Safety and Special Needs Fair is taking place next month, and is a presentation of the Temecula Community Services Department, Human Services Division.
The fair is expected to feature more than 100 agencies that provide help for seniors, families, children and those with special needs. One of those to have confirmed their presence is the American Lung Association.
There will be information on meal services for the elderly and local employment services. Food vendors will also be on hand to sell healthy snacks and drinks, and there will be free health screening for matters like blood pressure and bone density, dental and low vision assessments, and information provided on emergency preparedness and safety.
In addition, there is set to be live entertainment, raffles and several giveaways.
The event is likely to double up as a networking opportunity for those who work in those fields to exchange ideas with their peers. No doubt many of the exhibitors will be providing printed materials for those who stop by their booth.
