The Boys and Girls Club of Southwest County is presenting its 22nd annual ‘Our Kids Rock’ gala dinner and auction in Temecula. The theme for this year is the Great Gatsby and the roaring 20s.
This is also a costume ball and guests are encouraged to dress in a style in keeping with the 1920s in America. They will enjoy a gourmet dinner and take part in silent and live auctions. Specials guests who are expected to appear include saxophone player Michael Paulo and a member of the original Platters singing group.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Club's Our Heroes Children program, which is a free initiative for children of U.S. veterans and military personnel. It offers afterschool programs, tutoring, and fun events for children between the ages of 6 and 18.
While the event will provide much needed funds for the program, it will also be a networking opportunity for local business leaders. Those planning to attend will no doubt place a new business card order with their favorite printing company.
The Our Kids Rock gala dinner and auction is taking place at the Pechanga Resort and Casino on October 4 from 5:00 pm - 9:30 PM.
