Annual balloon and wine festival returning to Temecula

For the past 32 years, a festival has been held in Temecula that brings together food, wine, entertainment and hot air ballooning, and this year will be no exception.

This year’s Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival will bring the public together with a range of activities for young and old alike.

There will be early morning and evening hot air balloon lunches, a chance to ride in a tethered balloon, and locally produced food, wine, and beers to try. There will even be specially designed menu of three or four courses, paired with craft beers and fine wines. Custom Drinkware can be produced for use during the tasting sessions and full course meals at events like this.

For music lovers, there will be a main stage with entertainment that has been selected so that there will be something to please just about any music taste.

The event will run from May 20 to 22 at the Lake Skinner Recreation area. Campsites are available, and some area hospitality establishments are offering specially priced weekend packages. Ticket prices start at $23 if they are purchased online, or they are $30 at the gate. Lower prices passes are available for youth, and active military personnel.
