Roseville is gearing up for an array of activities for the 4th of July. These will include a 5K run/walk, a parade, family activities and fireworks.
Roseville’s 5K Fun Run/Walk will start things off as runners will meet in a local park early in the day.
Later in the morning, parade enthusiasts will get to view or even participate in the return of the 4th of July parade. Those units participating will want to get some banner printing soon to have colorful Banners introducing their section. The parade will step off at the intersection of Douglas / Vernon / Riverside streets. It will continue down Vernon, turning right onto Lincoln and right again onto Park Drive.
After the parade everyone will want to stick around for the bounce houses, family activities and carnival games. Thanks to Performing Arts of Roseville, the Capitol Pops Concert Band will be providing the music. Food trucks will be offering traditional summer goodies.
The fireworks will be set off at the Placer County Fairgrounds, 800 All America City Blvd., around 9:30 pm. Gates will open at 5 pm.
