Quilting is an art that combines form and function, and a show that will be on offer in Roseville will put quilts in the spotlight for the public to view and enjoy.
The Pioneer Quilters Guild is eagerly anticipating the return of its annual Quilt Show, which gives locals an opportunity to discover these works of textile art. Many of the quilts included will have been both designed and sewn by area crafters, and aside from the exhibits, there will be plenty more to enjoy.
The plans for the two days will see a boutique pop-up craft market where local makers will have a variety of items for sale, and they may even be able to go home with a brand new quilt to keep or give to someone special. The raffle basket draw will be back, and door prize draws for an assortment of Corporate Gifts and other items are also on the agenda. Food may be purchased on site.
Anyone who would like to enter an item in the show is welcome to submit an application to do so. Admission for the general public is $8, and this covers both days.
The 2022 Pioneer Quilters Guild Quilt Show will be showcasing local talent on November 12 and 13. Space at the Roseville Sports Center has been reserved for the occasion.
