Roseville set to enjoy season wine celebration

The Placer Wine Trail is a popular destination for visitors to the area and locals alike, and this holiday season, it will be inviting the public to sip and shop their way along.

Communities all along the route will be participating in two days of festive fun, including those in the Roseville vicinity. The attendees will be treated to an assortment of special experiences, and wine tastings will be the order of the day.

Many of the wineries taking part will be offering special discounts of bottles and cases of their vintages, and as new wine releases are on the agenda, it may be of interest to area foodies. Santa himself has been invited to stock his own wine cellar, and live entertainment is on the agenda as well. The theme for the day will be “Lumberjack Christmas”, and everyone is reminded to dress for the occasion.

In the flyer prepared for the occasion, it was noted that there will be a collection station set up on site for the Toys for Tots program. Anyone who would like to make a donation of a new, unwrapped toy will be able to do so. A poster printing company will be able to make sure everyone in the community knows about a particular event.

The Holidays in the Hills weekend of festivities will take place on December 3 and 4. Tickets are available now, and its website offers details about the various venues and their locations.
