Roseville schedules mental health awareness fair

The organizers of a Roseville event believe mental health matters, and they have put together an activity they hope will both raise awareness and help reduce the stigma surrounding the topic.

The Maidu Community Center will be the location for this year's Placer 4 Mental Health Wellness Fair, and everyone is on the guestlist. It will showcase how all residents can play a role when it comes to mental health, and there will be plenty of learning opportunities.

At least 50 vendors will be at the venue for the day. Wellness workshops that cover a variety of subject matter areas have been planned, and these will provide a deeper dive into topics such as emotional wellness, youth mental health, sleep, and even equine-assisted psychotherapy. There will be family-friendly entertainment, meaning it will be an opportunity for kids to begin learning how they can take care of their mental health.

Community awareness fairs like this may attract a lot of public interest. Banners can provide the final touch to an activity, and a wide assortment of styles can be prepared by a banner printing company.

The Placer County Mental Health Awareness Fair will welcome Roseville residents on Thursday, May 15. Admission to the celebration will be free of charge, and it will kick off at 12:00 pm, continuing until 6:00 pm.
