Roseville potential law recruits to take physical test

Roseville residents who are planning on a career in local law enforcement have been reminded that the Sacramento County Sheriff's Training Academy has made arrangements for a session of its physical ability test.

The Sheriff's Office has scheduled the physical ability test for those who would like to be part of its Deputy Sheriff Recruit and Non-Affiliate Recruit programs. Taking place in just a weeks’ time, it will also be on offer to on-call those in its Deputy Sheriffs and Deputy Sheriff On Call initiatives.

Anyone who plans on participating in the test will need to ensure they bring a valid government-issued ID with them to present upon arrival, and other paperwork may be required as well. These will need to be on official Letterheads or a printed email. It is also advised that they bring a facial covering and plenty of water, and appropriate attire, including sneakers, is also important.

The listing prepared for the testing explained that the session needs to be completed no more than six months ahead of their start at the Academy. Anyone who needs more information or has questions is asked to contact recruiting@sacsheriff.com.

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Training Academy in Carmichael will be running its testing day on July 9. It will begin at 9:30 am. Spots in the session can be reserved via Eventbrite.
