Springtime in Roseville brings a feast of fresh strawberries, and a local Farmers’ Market wants to celebrate the season.
The Berry Fest Farmers’ Market will be taking place this May, and it will be just in time for Mother's Day. It was explained that the function will have the look and feel of a street fair, and food featuring strawberries will be the order of the day.
The festivities, which will be free of charge and suitable for all, include the Little Miss Strawberry Pageant, as well as a berry shortcake eating contest, a beer and wine garden, live entertainment, and a vendor alley. Performers will be strolling through the crowds.
The event has been cancelled due to Covid in the past few years, so the organizers hope it will be back and even better than before this year. Plenty of free parking is available in the area.
