Roseville event to raise funds for animals in need

Roseville is set to show some love to its companion animal set with a special evening event, and the public is welcome to join in the fun of the experience.

Placer SPCA has scheduled an activity that it hopes will raise both funds and awareness of animal welfare in the community. Dubbed “Woof, Wine and Dine,” it will showcase local culinary talent as well as the skills of area vintners.

The activity is intended for both pets and their people. The humans can enjoy wine and beer tastings, as well as an assortment of light bites, and while they mix and mingle, they will be treated to music and other entertainment. As alcohol will be served, the function is restricted to those age 21 and up. While tickets may be available at the door, there is a discount being offered to those who reserve theirs in advance.

Organizing a fundraiser often involves working with a tight budget so that as much of the monies raised as possible will be left for the cause. A printing services company can offer an assortment of options that are both economic and effective.

Roseville will be celebrating the city’s companion animals with this special activity scheduled for Thursday, May 30 at the Vernon Street Town Square. Passes for the gathering may be purchased through the Placer SPCA website.
