Two charity events are planned for Roseville during October.
The first will be the Taste of Placer in Roseville 2019. Kelli’s Cookies for Goodness Bakes will be hosting its third annual Taste of Placer in the middle of the month. More than 40 local wineries, restaurants and breweries will be serving their signature menu items. Over 500 guests are expected to attend.
Local businesses are donating Promotional Products, discount coupons and other items to the event’s swag Bags. Sharif Jewelers has donated a $3,500 necklace for the raffle. Music will be performed by Cliff Huey 27 Outlaws and the special guest for the evening will be Kitty O’Neal from KFBK.
Proceeds will go to the Kelli’s Cookies for Goodness Bakes’ workforce development program for employment, job training, and mentoring for local at-risk teens.
The event will be held at the Roseville Sports Center, 1545 Pleasant Grove Blvd. on October 12 from 6:00 pm until 9:30 pm.
The 7th Annual Kidsfirst Denim and Diamonds Fundraising Gala will be held on October 17th at @the Grounds, 700 Event Center Drive from 5:30 to 9:00 pm.
Civic leaders, community members, and local businesspeople are invited to update their Business Cards and be prepared for an evening of dining, music, dancing, and networking. Randy Peters Catering has created the menu and Sheriff Devon Bell will be the emcee. A silent auction will have designer handbags, spa packages, vacation getaways, and themed baskets up for bids.
Proceeds will go to local children and families in need.
