This March, a Roseville area green space will be welcoming birders for an annual celebration, and the planners have put together a schedule of activities for young and old alike.
The Effie Yeaw Nature Center (EYNC), which is located inside Carmichael’s Ancil Hoffman Park, has opened the registration system for its Bird and Breakfast weekends. One date will be reserved for those age 12 and up, while the second will be suitable for the whole family, and tickets start at $30 each.
The attendees at these functions will be led on a guided bird walk, and the breakfast will be served buffet-style. There is also an opportunity to sit in on a lecture that will discuss the various species that call the EYNC home. Registration for this must be completed separately, and the admission price is $20.
This activity is being presented thanks to the assistance of several sponsors who have provided a financial contribution. Organizers of functions that depend upon the support of businesses and private individuals can thank each sponsor by including their Logo Design in the publications used to promote an event.
The EYNC will be welcoming birders for its pancake breakfast and bird walks on March 19 and March 27. The lecture will be on offer on March 15 using the Zoom platform.
