Placer County Fair will be Mooving Forward Together

Placer County Fair is coming in late June, and this year’s slogan is “Mooving Forward Together.”

Many of Roseville’s talented residents are creating original pieces to enter in this year’s fair coming in June. Participants may choose to enter items from over 100 categories ranging from clothing and textiles, agriculture, and fine arts, to photography, floriculture and preserved and baked foods. Adult registration will be $5 per entry and cash prizes will go to the winners.

Youth have their own divisions such as technology, school projects, baked foods, fine arts and crafts. Teens may enter for free.

All exhibitors may enter online at the placer.fairmanager.com website. Entries are due Monday, May 31st. Judging will take place Saturday, June 19th from 9:00 am until noon.

The Livestock community is looking forward to the small Animal Pre-Weigh on Sunday, April 25th. Goats, lambs and pigs will be weighed beginning at 7:00 am at The Grounds, 700 Event Center Drive.

Some fair activities will be a carnival, Family fun zone and live concerts. Many local talented young women will compete in the annual scholarship pageant.

Pictures taken at events such as this often go to local Print shops to be part of the town’s visitor guide brochure printing.

Placer County Fair will take place 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Thursday, June 24th, 25th and 26th and Sunday June 27th from noon until 9:00 pm at the Placer County Fairgrounds here in Roseville.
