The 7th annual Vision 2020 FEAT Walk & Carnival has been postponed until later this year. The 2K nature walk will be on a paved pathway in Roseville.
Registration will be $30 per person and kids, ages two to twelve, will be $5, while children under two will be free. Adult pre-registrants are guaranteed T-Shirts sporting the event Logo Design. Teams are currently being formed to raise money for FEAT (Families for Early Autism Treatment).
Participants will be checking in at 8:00 am, which is when raffle tickets ($5 for one or $20 for five) go on sale and refreshments will be served. A Kick-Off Rally will get everyone in the walking mood at 8:30 am. The walk will begin at 9:00 am and the paved nature trail will be accessible to wheelchairs. FEAT will give everyone free bottled water.
After the walk, a vendor carnival will begin at 9:30 am. The carnival will have jump slides, magic show, face painters, games, interactive music shows, and obstacle courses. Raffle winners will be announced at 11:00 am and clean-up will be from 11:30 am until closing at 12:30 pm.
Many local businesses like to donate to events like this. They can use the donations as part of their advertising in any brochure printing.
2020 Vision FEAT Walk & Carnival will be at Maidu Community Park, 1550 Maidu Dr. Saturday, September 19.
