City to make way for collectables

For all Roseville doll and teddy bear collectors, and for everyone who just admires those childhood favorites, it will soon be time for the Crossroads Doll and Teddy Bear Show. This will be a day of exhibiting, selling, and just enjoying the treasures.

Guests can bring their broken dolls and teddies and have them repaired by industry experts. Evaluations and appraisals will be available by John Port, who a world expert on teddy bears, and Antique Roadshow’s Marshall Martin, who will be appraising up to two dolls per guest.

Vendors and doll and teddy enthusiasts will want to bring those Business Cards to exchange in order to get in touch with each other after the event. If anyone happens to have a few (up to five) dolls or bears that they would like to sell on consignment, they can contact the Cross Roads Show and make reservations. No consignment will be accepted the day of the event.

Exhibitors need to reserve a spot as soon as possible because the organizers must send confirmation. The event will no doubt carry out flyer printing, small poster printing, and postcard printing for its vendors.

The event will be Saturday, September 12, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, at the Placer County Fairgrounds, 800 All America City Blvd, Roseville. Tickets will be $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12.
