Hedge End to hold rock singing group

Introductory session for a choir specialising in the rock genre will take place later this year at a Southampton school in Hedge End.

Those in Hedge End, Southampton with a passion for rock music and singing can satisfy both of their interests at an autumn event. A local community-based choir focused on rock will be holding a taster session in November at the Wellstead Primary School and is now inviting budding vocalists in the area to attend.

Organisers of local events sometimes look to flyer printing services to help them get the word out via colourful leaflets listing times, dates, addresses and other important information.

The Hedge End Rock Choir is the brainchild of Jan Moll, a local musician from Hampshire. The choir has proved popular in the are and has had the pleasure of performing at some of the UK’s biggest venues like Wembley Stadium. It has also sung for esteemed audiences that have included celebrities like actor Will Smith, presenter and newsreader Sir Trevor McDonald, and Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellows.

The Hedge End Rock Choir taster session is taking place on Wednesday, November 20 at the Wellstead Primary School. The event will start at 7.30 pm and end at 9 pm and the school is situated on Wellstead Way in Hedge End, Southampton.

The taster session completely free to attend.
