An irrepressible English band known for their eclectic mix of music genres are set to perform live in Southampton this winter.
Music fans from Hedge End, Botley Green and other Southampton suburbs won’t want to miss an upcoming concert coming to city nightspot the 1865. February will find English all-stars Fat Dog on stage at the popular venue to play a single-night show.
From pubs and clubs to concert halls and theatres, music venues of all shapes and sizes often rely on poster printing services to create promotional notices that drive ticket sales.
Formed amidst the lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic, Fat Dog become a popular act before they’d even released a single. Known for their high energy performances, they earned a reputation for being boisterous on stage with members of the music press. NME’s Gary Ryan called them the wildest band of 2023.
Their musical style blends punk, dance and klezmer, and the group consists of Chris Hughes, Joe Love, Morgan Wallace, Johnny ‘Doghead’ Hutch and Jacqui Wheeler. Drummer Hutch gained his nickname for playing live wearing a latex animal mask, which he stated helped him cope with his anxiety.
Fat Dog will now play live at The 1865 on February 20. The venue is located at Brunswick Square in Southampton and the gig has a 7 pm start time.
