Acclaimed songsmith returns to Southampton

A Southampton venue is set to welcome a celebrated singer-songwriter.

Renowned musician Paul Weller will return to play the port city in 2021. Music fans from Netley, West End and Hedge End in Southampton will now be able to attend the rescheduled show that was originally planned for this year.

As part of Weller’s UK tour, the concert will promote the artist’s most recent album “On Sunset” that was released in July 2020, allowing attendees to appreciate new tracks including Mirror Ball, Old Father Thyme, and I’ll Think of Something.

Weller rose to fame in the early 70s with mod revival band The Jam and continued his success into the ‘80s in The Style Council. By 1989, Weller was without a band and gained critical acclaim as a solo artist, receiving multiple awards and accolades for his singles and albums. His long career will be represented on the concert playlist with classics like That’s Entertainment, Walls Come Tumbling Down, the Changingman and Wild Wood. Solo artists and bands can sometime use Logo Design services to create an eye-catching trademark to emblazon albums and merchandise with.

Paul Weller will now play the O2 Guildhall on West Marlands Road in Southampton at 6:30pm on Saturday, March 20, 2021. Tickets for the intended date of Friday, October 30, 2020 will be valid for the performance.
