Timmins’ businesses that want to be in the know when it comes to media relations are welcome to register for The Chamber’s workshop that will be all about maximizing the power of the media to achieve success.
Cameron Grant, who is The Chambers’ Policy and Engagement Lead, has organized a learning opportunity that he feels can be helpful to companies that would like to make the most of the media. He will focus on four main topics, and students will be welcome to ask questions and share their own tips.
The workshop will start with a discussion of the fundamentals of media relations, and once everyone is well grounded, they will explore how they can draft invites and press releases that can be helpful in catching the public’s eye. They will also find out how they can be well prepared for a live media interview, and the session will then come to a close with a review of why a positive relationship with the media can be beneficial.
Both members of The Chamber and the general public are invited to register, and admission prices start at $30. Print shops can provide low cost Copies of any materials that will be distributed during this sort of presentation.
This chance for local businesses to add some new tools to their public relations toolkit will be taking place on January 21st. It will be held at 76 McIntyre Road.Get a Free Quote for Copies Get a Free Quote for Print
