The holidays are coming up and almost everyone is thinking of what to buy for their family and friends, trying make sure the gift they buy fits the person's interests or tastes and that it is unique. With some helpful suggestions, the annual Arts and Crafts Sale is taking place in Timmins on the last weekend of November.
The sale will feature artists from Timmins and other Northern Ontario towns and cities. All of the items will be handmade, and will include such wares as jewelry, fabric creations, toys, Christmas decorations, ornaments, and homemade candles. Those who attend are sure to find something to appeal to a friend or loved one. In addition, there will be draws each day, door prizes, and cider to drink.
It is likely that several of the artists taking part in the sale will avail themselves of some of the services of Timmins printing companies. For example, some might want to invest in postcard printing services. Many artists use Postcards in the same way as other business owners use Business Cards - they feature a sample of their work on the front of the card and have contact information on the back. The card may or may not have room for an address so it can be mailed.
The Arts and Crafts Sale will take place at the Timmins Museum from November 30 - December 1. Tickets are $2 and children 12 and under are admitted for free. The event is a fundraiser for the museum. For more information, call 705-360-2617.
