Timmins Healthy Aging expo seeks sponsors and exhibitors

Timmins will soon be hosting an event that will give older adults, as well as their families, a variety of tools and information they can use to live a healthy lifestyle.

Its planners have issued a call for both sponsors and also local businesses and service providers that would like get involved and help make the occasion a success.

The Healthy Aging Expo, which will be open to all locals, will run for four hours and its organizers have planned for it to be well attended by a large number of area residents. Both businesses and not-for-profit groups are welcome to participate as exhibitors, and the registration fee for a charitable organization is $35. For-profit companies have been asked to pay $100.

There is no admission fee being charged to the public to participate in the expo. The companies and groups that choose to get involved will be able to have their name and branding seen by a wide audience of potential customers and clients. Brochure printing and other promotional services can be provided by a Print company to any of the participants in this sort of occasion.

The Healthy Aging expo will be taking place on October 25. Science Timmins, which is located at 225 5th Avenue, has been selected to be the venue for this activity, and anyone who is interested is welcome.
