An event that will be hitting Timmins this spring will see community members get down and dirty in support of those living with Alzheimer's.
A degenerative disease, Alzheimer's affects the brain and an individual's memory and cognitive abilities.
The Alzheimer Society of Timmins-Porcupine District, Inc. has organized a race that will combine overcoming several obstacles with mud to create a challenge that can be a whole lot of fun. It is not intended to be a competitive event, rather, it is meant to provide an opportunity for participants to test their own personal limits along with their friends and family.
Those who would like to take part can do so on their own or as a member of a team, and this can be a great corporate team building exercise. Registration is $60 each, and this can be completed online. Along with the race, there will be a vendor area, a health fair and food and beverages will be available.
This sort of activity can go a long way towards raising both funds and awareness. A printing services provider can be counted on to provide everything from marketing Posters to race bibs, T-Shirts and finishers medals that can help to make it a memorable experience for everyone who takes part.
June 1st has been set as the date for Mud Factor 2019. It will be staged at 1875 Highway 101 East in Timmins.Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for T-Shirts
