The 34th annual Heart Beat Gala: Hearts on Masquerade is taking place this February in Timmins. All proceeds from the evening will go to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Guests who plan to attend will be expected to wear masquerade masks during the gala. Those present will be treated to a cocktail reception followed by a four-course sit-down dinner. Silent and live auctions are also planned to take place.
Entertainment will be provided by June Lions, Jonelle Larouche and Jesse Lamothe, and DJ Ron Lafond, and a selection of door prizes will be handed out during the evening. A photographer will also be taking photographs of guests for $10 each, with proceeds going to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Local companies and individuals have likely donated items to be auctioned off. The hotel is also offering discounted rooms for those who plan to attend this popular fun raising event.
The gala is always an anticipated date on the Timmins social calendar and, to help advertise it in the community, it is possible that local printing companies were asked to provide marketing products such as Flyers to be distributed in the city.
The show is taking place at the Days Inn and Conference Centre's Grand Ballroom on February 15 from 6:00 pm - 1:00 am. Tickets are $85 each, $800 for a table of 10, and $650 for one of eight.
